How GE Built A 6 Million Page Website In 90 Days
from the need-for-speed dept
I guess when big companies move quickly it's exciting enough for a news article. Here's a story of how GE built a 6 million page website in 90 days for $20 million. Of course, it's not clear what the 6 million pages are. Also, as far as I can tell from the article, the reason they got the website done so quickly was because they made decisions quickly. That's about it. Instead of waiting for things to get approved and go through the "proper channels" they just got stuff done.
