Students Translating Homework On The Web

from the lost-in-the-translation dept

A good article about how students taking foreign language classes these days are often writing their homework in English and translating them on the web. Of course, as anyone who's used these services knows, they're not the most reliable. Teachers are noticing weird translations and are beginning to realize what's happening. Some think it's okay, but most are threatening to fail students who use the services.
