I'm A Senator And I Use The Internet

A column written by Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy on the fact that he actually uses the internet. I have no idea what the point of the article was. This is the type of article that would have made sense a few years ago, but now, I'm surprised. It actually makes him sound behind the times - since he appears to expect people to be impressed that he uses the internet. Congratulations Senator on doing exactly what many other Americans do every single day.

    I guess he wants to be thought of as the Internet senator number 2 (but doesn't realise that knowledge of the net is expected in virtually all professional jobs). I'd be more interested to see a senator unwired with bluetooth and an assortment of wireless gadgets, then I'd be impressed.
