An article at News.com tells wonderful stories about old economy execs who made lots and lots of money by moving to new economy companies even when they were complete failures. Apparently, these old economy execs know a thing or two about negotiating a new job position. They received huge signing bonuses, loans, and stock options that were guaranteed to let them do well whether or not the company ended up dead.
