Digital VHS
from the sounds-like... dept
Remember when DATs came out and there were all these stories about how they would replace the CD? Well, that didn't happen, but it sounds similar to the claims of digital VHS which JVC is now hyping. As far as I can tell the main "advantage" of the digital VHS is that it makes copying tapes a pain. Now there's a selling point that should win consumers over. I also like the statement saying that the copy protection scheme "can't be broken".
