A great article about a doctor who was ripped off in an online auction and spent a lot of time and effort to track down the scammer who stole his money and never delivered any product. It does point out the difficulties that most normal people have in trying to catch an online scammer. Since the dollar amounts are often not that high, it's tough to find someone who will work on your behalf in the law enforcement world.
