News Corp. Takes Control Of Fox Online Sites
from the enough-of-that dept
News Corp announced that they're folding Fox.com, FoxNews.com, and FoxSports.com back into the main company. This isn't that big of a surprise, as a lot of these dot coms spinoffs have suddenly lost most of their value. There's simply no reason for News Corp's broadcasting arm not to have some sort of direct control over these sites. Of course, in the process, News Corp will be cutting staff significantly. I wonder if they're going to completely destroy their online brands simply because they felt they were failures?
