John Doerr Regrets Remark

Kleiner Perkins' John Doerr is famous for many things, but the quote of his that gets repeated most often is that the internet was the "largest legal creation of wealth in history." Now, he says he regrets that remark. He says it may be true, but it may have attracted the wrong sort of person to Silicon Valley: the mercenary. Of course, Mr. Doerr doesn't mention that he went on to fund a bunch of these mercenaries.
