Trouble In DSL Land
from the no-one's-paying dept
Why are Covad, NorthPoint and RhythmsNet Connections in so much trouble? All of the providers they work with are going out of business and they're not getting paid. This could cause a lot of problems for all three. The worst off appears to be Northpoint, who some are predicting could be in serious trouble next quarter. I write this, of course, as I sit here waiting for the Northpoint installation guy to put DSL in my house (he's already late for the appointment). Anyone know what happens if they go out of business or "cut back" on their network as the article suggests?
