Dot TV Good For Tuvalu?
from the this-ain't-Gilligan's-isle dept
While dot com's are dropping like flies, some good is coming from the dot tv domain. Tuvalu is reaping the benefits of its $50M-over-10-years deal to sell its nation's domain. The deal has just about doubled Tuvalu's GDP and has gotten Tuvalu away from whoring its 688 phone code to phone sex companies. They've even bought themselves a membership in the UN. Ain't progress grand?
