End Of Free Stuff?
from the Free-means-you-don't-pay dept
Altavista is ending its free internet access service. And earlier, we saw Bluelight buy Spinway. So does mean the end of free internet access? Well, I've had my share of "free" lunches, and I think this is just a case of the lunch-providers realizing what "free" really means. I think we'll probably be seeing more "strings attached" pretty soon.... Update: It seems free stuff is fading fast.
