Bluelight.com Buys Spinway
from the a-necessary-save dept
There were a few small reports last week that Spinway might be going out of business. I was surprised it didn't receive more press, since they provide the free ISPs used by Bluelight and many others. So, when they finally did announce they were going to shut down, it's not a big surprise that Bluelight came to the rescue and bought them out. Of course, this now means that many Bluelight competitors will be paying Bluelight for their ISP services. My guess is that as the contracts run out Bluelight won't renew them and those other companies will either build new services in house or find some other ISP to provide the services.
