The Economist takes a look at what it means to folks working in dot com companies whose stock is 10% or less of what it once was. At the very least, you know that many employees' stock options are underwater. However, some companies are finding it easier to attract new talent with stock options. Since the price is so low, it's almost like getting in earlier. Of course, there's no reason why the stock ever needs to go up again.
