Lot21 has laid off 25-30 employees this past week, cutting their staff from 150 in San Francisco. Lot21 has been the poster-child of successful online marketing agencies and has had marquee partners such as Bank of America, Sega and eBay. According to Lot21 they over-anticipated their needs for Q4. This one is simple math, as online companies scale back their Fall spending, this online marketing agencies have less business.
