Napster Should Apologize To Lars

from the this-isn't-the-elementary-school-playground dept

The chief of the RIAA sent a letter to the CEO of Napster requesting they issue a personal apology to Lars Ulrich of Metallica. Look, that is one of the most absurd requests I have ever heard. Is Ulrich 5 years old and crying in the corner because some other kid took his toys? That's exactly what it sounds like. It wouldn't surprise me if Napster caved in and did this to try and calm things down, but even if they do, it has absolutely no meaning at all, IMO.

    Apology for Lars

The chief of the RIAA has had a really great idea. In case napster does not issue an appology, you can foreward this one:

Sorry Lars... I used napster to download your music... now I know it wasn't right. Can you forgive me? Thanks! I promise not to do it again, he he
