We've Been Classified

from the i'm-a-what? dept

Apparently, there's a new term for those of us in the technology/dot com world: Yettie. It stands for "young entrepreneurial technocrat". What this means, of course, is that now that we've been classified, our whole yettie lifestyle must be over. Time for us to go on and create some new group, while we sneer at our yettie past until someone categories the new group and forces us to move on again.

    Yettie what?

    by Ryan

This Yettie thing has been around for a few months now and I've never really found myself at one with it. I'd never say, "He's a Yettie" or "I'm a Yettie" because it sounds like I describing the missing link rather than a particular group of people.
