Politics.com Sells Out At Their High Point
from the it's-all-about-timing dept
Politics.com picked an interesting day to throw in the towel. Realizing that they had no real business model other than to be one of a thousand political sites on election day, Politics.com is shutting down and auctioning off its domain. They said they realized that they were no longer necessary past Tuesday. Of course, if they realized they were just going to sell out, why wait until after the expiration date? They should have sold out a month ago when they might actually have tricked someone into paying real money for the domain.
