Wearable Computer Tests

Bell Canada, IBM, and Xybernaut are doing the first field tests of wearable computers with telephone technicians in the field. They want to see if it helps the technicians complete repairs more quickly. So how long until we see half the population walking around with computers strapped to their bodies?

    I think it won't happen until the business community begin to embrace it first (which was the case with mobile phones and PDA's). Hopefully the'll be more widespread in about 2 years (although still only in larger numbers amongst professionals probably).
