Communist Cars?
from the playing-nice-with-others dept
If you don't own a car, this service gives you the option to share. It's not a new idea --it's basically a car-library. You pay a membership fee, and you can borrow a car whenever you like. But while Americans like to share music files, DVDs, CDs, etc., I don't think I know very many people who want to share their cars. It seems to me that all this sharing business is getting out of hand. Sharing cars really seems antithetical to the American Way, because we need to be -individual- consumers. Or maybe this is the second coming of communism. What will we share next?
