Handheld fanatics have been waiting a while for it and it finally seems like it is going to arrive, the handheld phone attachment to Handspring’s PDAs. The only problem that I can envision is the price, would Handspring owners be willing to pay $299 for a phone attachment. In my opinion this product will become a flop unless Handspring follows subsidised phone models that have become the norm for wireless carriers or lower their total cost through mass production.
