Western Union really delivers
from the just-fire-whoever-did-it dept
Western Union made a phenomenal mistake this past weekend, exposing thousands of credit card numbers to anyone who visited their site. It was attributed to human error. Very simple solution, folks. First, you fire the person who made the error. But, don't stop there, then you fire the highest ranking executive who manages that department. There should never, ever be an opportunity for human error to expose that kind of information. Period. It's an information architecture design flaw. End of story.
