Dot Com Layoffs Increasing, But Not a Problem
from the who-cares,-there-are-more-jobs dept
A new study has shown that dot com layoffs have been increasing (well, of course) but those workers aren't having any problems finding new jobs. I do wonder, though, if that's a temporary effect. I agree that there is still a lot of opportunity, but when some employers realize that part of the reason some of these dot coms collapsed was due to incompetent employees, you have to wonder how much the "experience" may really be worth. Of course, it's always tricky to distinguish the people who learned from a failure from those who added to it.
