Competing Studies on Internet Credibility

Two different reports of two different studies suggest very different results about how people view information and news they receive via the computer. The first study out of Ohio State had different people view the same news story online and in a magazine. They found that people who read the magazine version found the article easier to understand and more convincing. Then there's a study out of UCLA saying that veteran web surfers are very comfortable with news they read online (and believe it's a better source of news than other options) whereas less experienced surfers don't feel comfortable with online news. Perhaps the two researchers need to get together...
