Pandesic Down for the Count
from the another-failure dept
I remember when Pandesic launched - at a time when I happened to be employed by Intel. I talked with some people to find out what it would take to get a job with Pandesic. It sounded great at the time. Here was a startup, but backed entirely by Intel and SAP. But, everyone I spoke to within Intel said it would be a failure. They were right. Since then I watched with interest, and always thought it was a bad sign that the best customer they could come up with was the San Jose Symphony. Not exactly the marquee customer I think they were expecting. Now they're shutting down for good.
