The government is pushing the car industry to speed up efforts to put smarter devices into cars to prevent accidents. I think this is a good idea, but don't know if it's actually do anything or just make drivers more reckless. All I can say is that driving in the Bay Area these days is like a contact sport. And, I thought NY was bad...
