Okay, so everyone's heard about the ongoing battle that the record industry and Napster have been involved in. The movie industry having followed the current battle are trying to launch numerous Internet ventures to pre-empt any similar battles in their industry (seemingly closer and closer due to increasing bandwidth access). I have a feeling that using the Internet to develop trial shows will probably be one of the first successful (and appealing) methods for Hollywood to enter the Internet space due to an increase in new show selection efficiency and feedback.
