An increasing number of people are deciding to forget about their local Telcos and make long distance calls over the Internet. Of course one of the main drivers is that long distance calls in the US are free with services such as Dialapad.com. This obviously has started to set off a few alarm bells in AT&T and that’s why they've decided to invest in companies such as Net2phone.
