Downloadable Music... with Advertising
from the pay-the-price dept
As record companies try to figure out what this downloadable music thing is all about, they're apparently thinking about putting advertisement banners with MP3s. In other words, they're stretching for any sort of business model. Or, rather, the company that creates the ad software is hoping to stay in business and not show up on Fuckedcompany.com, so they're making some noise for themselves. Really, it's just another limiting format that will do more to annoy users than make them happy.
