The End of the Internet Revolution?
from the hardly dept
A long look at the internet economy. With all the stock downturns and layoffs and bankruptcies, is it the end for the internet world? Hardly. It's just the inevitable shakeout which should (theoretically) make successful internet businesses stronger and more robust. The article looks at examples from other industries as well. I generally don't like using historical analysis for predictions, and I think the article could be stronger if they actually looked at specific reasons why the internet is changing the world and won't go away, as opposed to just comparing it with other "hyped" industries in the past.
