Kmart Shows Up Online
from the look-at-that dept
After a number of aborted attempts Kmart is opening another online store. The article at first implies that this is Kmart's first attempt online, whereas it's really just "yet another" attempt, similar to Walmart's many attempts at moving online. The article also focuses on how Kmart might be more successful this time. Of course, that's not so much because they're doing a much better job this time (though that's implied - and you'd hope the third attempt would be better than the first two) but because most of their competition is going out of business. I'm not entirely sure why that's seen as a positive thing. I also think it's amusing that all employees of BlueLight.com have to wear Kmart clothing every Tuesday.
