Amazon gets another silly patent

Amazon received a patent today for their recommendation engine -- which is essentially a collaborative filtering system.. I think that there are a whole slew of collaborative filtering companies that are gonna be pissed at this one. Another example of the patent office handing out patents for ubiquitous things.. (like Amazon's "1-click" purchases a few months ago).
