No Obligation Incubation

I wasn't sure I could think of the right topic for this story. It might go under "surprises", but maybe not. It's a good article about some companies in the Boston area that have been helping out other companies that are just starting out by incubating them for free. It seems that companies that are a little further along but have some extra space are willing to let friends of theirs use that space for free out of good will. Personally, I've never heard of this happening in Silicon Valley. I do know people who will incubate friends' companies, but never for free.
