Expensive Journalists
from the paying-the-price dept
The Herring has an article about a new startup creating a B2B magazine that is trying to steal journalists away from major publications by paying them extraordinary salaries. Seems like an interesting strategy, but one that could backfire pretty easily. Besides, it sounds like may of the journalists aren't biting. A company that has only raised $4 million, but is offering journalist salaries over $160,000 has to make you wonder about their long term financial viability.
