Online Advertising Difficulties

Seems like the same problems everyone was talking about last year. Everyone is worried about how to measure advertising on the web. Hits don't work. Page views have problems. Click throughs are no good. While I do think metrics can be helfpul, I think people are over reacting a little here. And, almost no one ever talks simply about brand building using online advertising. They want everyone to click through, which just isn't going to happen.
