Dot Com Magazines?
from the silly-ideas dept
Yahoo has had a magazine for a long time, but it's really just that they licensed their name to Ziff-Davis publishing. Now, however, it seems more and more dot coms are really putting out their own magazines. For example, Pets.com is producing their own magazine. I really am not sure why anyone would want to read Pets.com Magazine. I am pretty sure there are plenty of excellent pet related magazines that aren't biased to sending people to a particular web site. It seems like a fairly ineffective and expensive advertising move.
