Optical companies will be the big thing in 2000
from the lets-cast-an-optical-spell-on-the-stock-market dept
Forbes is making a prediction that Optical networking companies will be the B2B's of 2000. That may well be true because of the massive amounts of information that will have to be transported at cheaper and cheaper prices but these optical networking companies already seem to be in the race. With several companies that seem to be establishing themselves as players in this market, such as Cisco, Nortel and of course a plethora of start-ups. It seems that any start-ups will be bought out before hitting the street.
