Vodaphone puts the Wireless into WWW

The worlds largest mobile telecoms company, Vodaphone Airtouch has today announced a deal with a consortium of large blue chip companies, to launch a world wide wireless internet service. Adding the icing to the cake it also announced a partnership with Psion, developer of Epoc (an OS for mobile phones). These two huge announcements basically destroys Mannesman's warnings to its shareholders that Vodaphones hostile bid would damage their stock due to a lack of growth opportunities. Keep making those plays Vodaphone!
