Cybersquatter With a Good Heart?
from the or-who-wants-good-PR dept
So, here's a story about a cybersquatter who had a "change of heart" and despite registering names of many corporations will be giving up those trademarked names for free to those companies. I don't buy the whole "change of heart" story. It's a publicity stunt (that worked). He gets articles written about him that point to his website where he is still selling *other* non-trademarked domains. At the same time, he knows that a team of lawyers could kill him for the trademarked ones, so he's getting rid of them.
