Amazon Cannot Make Money
from the quite-the-nonprofit dept
It looks as though Amazon did very well during the holiday season. They were definitely the leading shopping destination online, and they more than doubled last year's Q4 sales. In fact, in Q4 of 1999 they brought in more revenue than all of 1998. Yet, they say this won't make their net income any better as they're still losing quite a bit of money. It's amazing that they can still get away with this.
