Inactive HoTMaiL Accounts To Be Deleted

from the maybe-i-can-get-the-coveted-dennis@hotmail.com-address dept

In a push to cut costs and incent folks to sign up for the premium service, Microsoft announced today that any accounts not used for 30 days would be permanently deleted. While I think this is a good idea, 30 days seems a bit too short. I'd actually use my HoTMaiL account if it wasn't for the huge amount of spam I get to that address.

You account isn't actually deleted, just all your mail deleted. If you log back in within 90 days you get reactivated. And if you don't check your mail every 30 days, why in the world do you have an e-mail address?

hotmail sucks! its so full of trash and when you get too tired of your account, there is no way you could close it, or if there are people trying to hack in your mail, there is no way you could close your account befor they see your emails that you dont want them to see!
hotmail tries to eat people's money!
